Call for Papers

Contributed talks (20 minutes, including 2 minutes for questions) are welcome from any area of statistics, including the use of statistical methods to address novel (applied) problems. Please submit abstracts by Friday 7 August using the Abstract Submission form. The early bird registration date is by Friday 14 August. See the Conference Registration page for further details.

Talks from students are especially encouraged: there will be prizes for the best student talks, to a total value of NZ$1000, sponsored by Offlode. Students pay half the fees of other NZSA members (students get free NZSA membership for the first year after joining the Association).

Full written papers are not required, and there are no plans to publish a Conference Proceedings for NZSA 2009. However, the contributed abstracts will remain publicly accessible on the Contributed Talks page for the foreseeable future.
