- Arrival: Monday 13th January 2020 (welcome reception in evening)
- Departure: Sunday 19th January 2020 (after lunch)
This summer school is one of an annual series organized by the NZMRI (New Zealand Mathematics Research Institute), with the theme for January 2020 being the mathematical aspects of general relativity. See also the related conference on the Geometry of Quantum Fields and Strings
, 10–12 January 2020, at the University of Auckland, New Zealand.
The summer school is aimed primarily at mathematics PhD students - there would also be a significant number of senior mathematicians attending, but relatively few would have any significant background in general relativity.
Lectures would end at approximately 13:00 on Sunday 19th January 2020, followed by lunch, and then an afternoon departure.
