The afternoon of Tuesday 5 February will be free time. Here are some suggested activities:

• Visiting some of the local wineries
• Self-guided walking tour of Nelson City
• Tahunanui Beach is an hour walk from the conference venue or 10 minute bus trip on the No. 2 bus from the bus station on Bridge Street
• Mountain bike or touring bike hire from Trail Journeys Nelson
• Nelson provincial museum
• The Suter Art Gallery Te Aratoi O Whakatū

If you have some spare time before or after the confernece, some other attractions in the Nelson region include:

• Three National Parks
• Cycle touring and mountain biking
• Food, wine ane beer tours
