Third Wellington Workshop in Probability and Mathematical Statistics
28-29 November 2011
The Third Wellington International Workshop in Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics (WWPMS3) will be held at Victoria University of Wellington on 28-29 November 2011, in the Alan MacDiarmid building. The whole workshop is dedicated to David Vere-Jones, to celebrate his 75th birthday.
The general framework of the third workshop remains the same as in 2009 and 2010: all speakers are invited by the Program Committee, all will have the same length of time for a talk (30 minutes, including time for a few questions), the main accent will be on mathematical beauty and clarity, and examples with nice applications are very welcome.
There is no registration fee (contrary to some earlier suggestions).
