Second Wellington Workshop in Probability and Mathematical Statistics
30 November - 1 December 2010
The Second Wellington Workshop in Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics will be held at Victoria University of Wellington on 30 November - 1 December 2010.
The general framework of the workshop remains the same as in 2009: All speakers will be invited by the Program Committee, all will have the
same length of time for a talk (25 minutes), the main accent will be on mathematical beauty and clarity, and examples with nice applications are very welcome. There will be no registration fee for academic participants.
If there is sufficient interest we will include a session on problems in industrial applications of probability theory and mathematical statistics.
The dates of the Workshop have been chosen so that it precedes the
4th Asia-Pacific International Symposium on Advanced Reliability and Maintenance Modeling (APARM 2010), making participation in both events here at Victoria possible and simple.
