Maths Challenge - 15 Apr 2019 9:00am

The School of Mathematics and Statistics at Victoria University of Wellington is excited to host the annual Maths Challenge sponsored by Wellington Mathematics Association on Monday 15 April 2019. We invite teams of college-aged students to compete and participate in our FREE fun-filled day on campus.

Date: Monday 15 April
Time: 9am – 3pm (approx.)
Where: Alan McDiarmid Building, opposite ‘Wishbone’, Kelburn Campus, Victoria University of Wellington
Teams: 8-10 students, with one adult helper to attend each team

Lunch will be provided on the day and there are prizes up for grabs. Come on down to test out your knowledge, while mixing and mingling with other schools. We will require each team to be chaperoned and attended by one parent/teacher/helper.

There is no caparking availiable on the day for the event. For more information please email Caitlin Warwood.

Students are to bring a drink bottle, pen and paper. Students are also advised to bring along any arts and crafts stationary such as pencils, pens etc for one of the activities we will have that day.
