The School of Engineering and Computer Science at Victoria University of Wellington is pleased to host the Australasian Computer Science Week (ACSW) conference at the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa in Wellington, New Zealand in January, 2009.

The Australasian Computer Science Week (ACSW) is an international multi-conference event for Computer Science professionals, researchers and students, and occurs under the auspices of the Computing Research and Education Association (formerly the Computer Science Association). ACSW 2009 includes the 32nd Australasian Computer Science Conference (ACSC), the premier generalist forum for Computer Science Academics from Australia and New Zealand.

A feature of the conference will be keynote addresses by experts in the fields of databases, wikis, teaching computing and Grid computing.

ACSW2009 will be opened by New Zealand's Minister of Research Science and Technology, the Hon. Dr. Wayne Mapp.

We hope that you can submit a paper to one of the ACSW conferences or workshops and see us here in Wellington. Check out the CFPs for ACSC and related conferences/workshops and key dates such as early bird registration, submission dates, etc.
